Welcome to Jefferson Middle School!

Dear Jefferson Middle School Parents and Students,

My name is Carol Ann Knight and I am both honored and excited to be your Principal. Jefferson Middle School has a rich tradition of excellence in academics, fine arts, and athletics. We pledge to continue to provide highly qualified educators that are committed to providing a year of engaging, meaningful, and rigorous work in our classrooms.  Middle school is a time of transition that comes with new experiences and new responsibilities. Because of this, we invite students and parents to partner with us to make this a seamless transition. Together, we can make this the best school year ever.

I am very fortunate and thankful to have the opportunity to work with amazing students and parents, an outstanding faculty and staff, and a community that truly supports our school system. Together, we can meet the individual needs of each and every student as we strive to help them develop their own strengths to reach their full potential. As students become independent and increasingly involved in activities, your ongoing involvement becomes a critical component in their success.

I am very excited about the upcoming school year, and I look forward to working with you and your family. If you ever have a question or concern, please feel free to contact me at any time.

Sincerely,

Carol Ann Knight
