Welcome to Jefferson Elementary School!

Dear Friends,

It is with great excitement that I welcome you to the 2022-2023 school year at Jefferson Elementary School. Our staff is privileged to teach, protect, and care for your precious children. We promise to do our very best to provide each student with a safe and nurturing environment in which they can thrive and reach their highest potential. It is our vision, along with Jefferson City Schools, to provide high-quality education that offers every individual opportunities for success through sound curriculum and research-based practices.

We welcome parent support. When teachers and families partner together to support student achievement, children attend school more regularly, experience academic progress, and are more motivated students. We believe that this collaboration, along with a warm and joyful school environment, will foster a love for learning.

Your child’s education is of the utmost importance to us. I am so humbled and honored to work alongside such a talented and qualified staff, and look forward to an amazing school year. Thank you for trusting us with your child.

Truly yours,

Chrissy Joiner
