Dear Parents/Guardians,

We would like to take this time to thank you for your continued support and cooperation during distance and digital learning. We understand the past few weeks have not been easy, but please know your efforts have not gone unnoticed.

As a small token of gratitude, we would like to designate Wednesday, May 20th, as Dragon Parent Appreciation Day. You have played a major role in the success of distance and digital learning, and we cannot thank you enough.

As a reminder, the return of school-issued devices and other instructional materials will begin Thursday, May 21st. Please see the attached schedule for your child’s drop-off time and location.

Jefferson High School will be honoring seniors with a drive-thru car parade Thursday, May 21st, at 8:00 pm. Please see the attached route. Friends, families and community members are encouraged to enjoy the parade as spectators from the various school parking lots and along Old Pendergrass Road, Dragon Drive, and Hoschton Street. Please remember to follow social distancing guidelines, such as maintaining a distance of 6 feet apart from other people.

This school year has presented an array of unique circumstances; however, Dragons always come out on top. Let’s finish the school year on a strong note and enjoy a much-needed summer break.

Sincerely,

Jefferson City Schools
