Dragon Day for Rising 9th Grade Students
Jefferson High School is excited to host the annual Dragon Day for rising 9th-grade students! To ensure social distancing protocols are in place, the event will be extended over three days, February 2-4. Rising 9th graders will be led by high school student leaders throughout campus, and students will view presentations delivered by members of the JHS band, chorus, drama, and art programs. These students will also have an opportunity to visit the Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE) classrooms and labs, which will help them make important decisions regarding CTAE electives for the upcoming year. This is an exciting time for the Class of 2025 to experience a day in the life of a JHS Dragon!
Parent Night for rising 9th graders will be Monday, February 8. Jefferson High School will be hosting three sessions to ensure social distancing. We strongly encourage attendees to limit to two parents/guardians per one student. Families will have an opportunity to view a presentation from the Student Services Department and receive a comprehensive overview of the advisement process.
Following these events, the JHS counselors will visit the rising 9th graders on Tuesday, February 9 to devise individual graduation plans for the 2021-2022 school year.
