JHS graduate (2017), Will Kellum, competed for the National American Star Award in Agribusiness at the 93rd National FFA Convention and Expo Wednesday evening.

The American Star Award is the most prestigious honor an FFA member can receive. Kellum moved on to the competition after being named Georgia's candidate in June 2020.

Kellum was recognized for starting his own landscaping business, which began as a middle school FFA project.

Kellum was also a recipient of the American FFA Degree alongside JHS graduates: Jessi Bell ('17); Bryce Conkel ('17); and Madison Franklin ('18).

The American FFA Degree is the highest degree achievable in the National FFA Organization and shows an FFA member's dedication to their chapter and state FFA association.

Congratulations to all our former Dragons! #DragonStrong
