Athletic Training

Athletic trainers are found in high schools and colleges, corporations, professional sports, the military, performing arts, clinics, hospitals, and physician offices.  These individuals play an active role in the healthcare industry.

In honor of National Athletic Training Month, Jefferson City Schools would like to recognize some of our frontline workers helping to keep the Jefferson Dragon family safe -- the Jefferson Athletic Trainers, Ms. Caroline Hicks and Ms. Kennedy Crocker.

During the month of March, athletic trainers across America are recognized for their commitment to helping people prevent injuries, stay healthy and active, and adhere to COVID-19 and other safety protocols. We are fortunate at Jefferson City Schools to have two nationally certified and state licensed athletic trainers.  In addition to working with our athletes, Ms. Hicks and Ms. Crocker serve as Health Science instructors in the C.T.A.E. department. These staff members are highly educated and dedicated to supporting our athletic and academic programs.

Jefferson City Schools would like to recognize Ms. Caroline Hicks and Ms. Kennedy Croker for their essential role in providing quality healthcare for our athletes every day.  Please join us in honoring these healthcare heroes during National Athletic Training Month!
