Jefferson City Schools’ four-year graduation rate for 2020 is 99.3%, as announced by the Georgia Department of Education.

Jefferson City Schools has the highest graduation rate among Athens-area school systems (Athens Banner Herald) and is one of 29 Georgia School Districts to report a graduation rate at or above 95%.

“I would like to congratulate the Class of 2020 and am very proud of their accomplishments despite the challenges faced last spring due to the COVID-19 pandemic. A huge thank you to all teachers and staff members for their collective efforts in providing quality instruction to the students enrolled in Jefferson City Schools. We appreciate our parents and guardians who support our work and value the importance of education,” Superintendent Dr. Donna McMullan said.
