    Due to potential, unpredictable weather conditions as a result of Hurricane Ian, the varsity football game originally scheduled for Friday, September 30th against Winder-Barrow has been moved to Thursday, September 29th at 7:30 PM at Jefferson Memorial Stadium. In addition, alumni night and the 2012 State Championship Football Team recognition have been rescheduled for Friday, October 21st. More specific details regarding these events will be communicated at a later date.

JCS Students Awarded with National Academic Honors from College Board

Sixteen students from JHS earned national recognition from the College Board National Recognition Programs. Having this designation identifies these students as being academically exceptional when applying for college. JCS salutes these students for their hard work and effort and applauds their achievement.

The recipients of this honor have excelled in College Board assessments and schoolwork. Requirements for consideration include having a GPA of 3.5 or higher and excelling on the PSAT, NMSQT or PSAT10 or scoring 3 or higher on two or more AP exams.
