Meet Your Principals!
Howard McGlennen, Principal Howard McGlennen has been at Jefferson Middle School for five years. He has been in education for 32 years and 21 years as an administrator. Mr. McGlennen earned BS at Huntington College in Secondary Education, Masters at Indiana University in Administration and Education Specialist in Educational Leadership at Clemson University. He started as a teacher in Indiana and moved to Georgia in 1986 and became principal of Franklin County Middle School. Mr. McGlennen moved to Rabun County Middle School in 1996 and then came to Jefferson Middle School in 2001. |
Brandy Corbett is serving in her third year as assistant principal at Jefferson Middle School. This is her tenth school year in public education. During her career, Mrs. Corbett has been a middle school counselor and a high school counselor in three different systems. As a 1992 graduate of Jefferson High School, Mrs. Corbett proudly serves the community and school in which she spent her childhood. Mrs. Corbett received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from North Georgia College. She then attended the University of Georgia where she graduated with a Master of Education in Guidance and Counseling. Mrs. Corbett completed her Education Specialist in Educational Leadership. Mrs. Corbett is married to Tim Corbett who is a physical education teacher and the Athletic Director at Jefferson High School. They have two children: Kale who is six and Katy who is four. |
