Your mission is to create an example of a primary source document for an important figure of the Renaissance.  Please check with your teacher for your assigned person!

A primary source is an original record created at the time a historical event occurred.  Primary sources may include letters, manuscripts, diaries, journals, newspapers, speeches, interviews, memoirs, or government documents.  These sources provide ways for historians to understand and interpret the past directly from the people who made history!
