Members of the Jefferson Middle School Band participated in their
 first annual Rock-a-thon this past March.  Students collected pledges
 and donations to raise money for the purchase of new instruments,
 equipment, and music for the JMS Band.  About 40 students and
 nearly 20 parents and teachers all came together on a late Friday
 evening to make  this event a success.  Students raised nearly
$2,200. . .way to  go JMS band students!!!
