As required by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, Jefferson City School District does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability in admission to its programs, services, or activities, in access to them, in treatment of individuals, or in any aspect of their operations. The Jefferson City School System offers the following career and technical education programs for all students regardless of race, color, national origin, including those with limited English proficiency, sex or disability in grades 9-12. Career Clusters:

  • Information Technology
  • Government and Public Administration
  • Health Science

The lack of English language skills shall not be a barrier to admission or participation in the district’s activities and programs. The Jefferson City Schools District also does not discriminate in its hiring or employment practices.

The Jefferson City School System offers career and technical education programs at Jefferson High and Middle Schools. These programs are designed to prepare youth for a broad range of employment and further education and are offered under the guidance of certified teachers. The following is a list of programs being offered this year and the criteria for admission. Program Criteria for Admission Students Must:
