The new Jefferson City STEAM Center is now operational. The STEAM Lab is an innovative learning facility designed to educate students through the use of advanced technologies such as robots, virtual reality, 3D printing, drones, and so much more. The Health Occupations classes were the first to experience the wonders of the STEAM Lab and enjoyed the experience. The technology the class had the opportunity to operate was Z-Space. The concept of Z-Space is to help students learn about certain subjects through 3D visualization without leaving the room. This technology is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to what the STEAM lab has to offer.
Mr. Randy Farmer (the STEAM Lab Coordinator) is proud to be able to teach Jefferson City School students about the wonderful world of technology.
