JHS student, Levi Bell was selected to participate on the State School Superintendent's Student Advisory Council for the 2018-2019 school year.
The State School Superintendent, Richard Woods, selected 120 students from the state of Georgia to participate in the council this school year.
The middle and high school students selected will meet with Mr. Woods to discuss state policies that impact students. This is a great opportunity for an adult who plays a large role in Georgia politics, to see things from the prospective of students.
Congratulations to Levi Bell for being selected to join the council. He was the only JHS/JMS student to be selected out of the 1,000+ applicants from the state of Georgia.
