Jefferson High School Remembers 9/11

On Tuesday, September 11th 2018, the entire student body and faculty of Jefferson High School gathered to remember the tragedy that happened 9-11, 17 years ago.

The ceremony started off with the raising of the American flag, while the Jefferson High School Marching Band played the "Star Spangled Banner". Then a representative from Jefferson ROTC program reflected on several events that happened that day. The ceremony then ended with the playing of "Taps" to remember those who lost their lives on that day.

These ceremonies allow students and adults to remember the people who have lost their lives during these tragic events. This tragedy is not something that needs to be forgotten, it needs to be remembered for generations to come.
