JHS Track travels to Tallahassee and competes is the FSU Track Meet

The JHS Track team had a very successful meet with many fantastic performances by its standout members.

On Friday and Saturday (March 24th and 25th) Jefferson competed in the FSU Relays against many other great schools. The team had great performances and amongst these several event placers. Sophomore Ellie Isaacs placed 4th overall in girls shot put. Isaacs final result was 11.23 meters, an outstanding accomplishment. Jefferson had two members place in the event of boys discus. Johnny Paolozzi earned the 8th spot in the discus throw with a final result of 44.64 meters. Donte Wilson claimed a spot in the top 3 event placers with a final result of 47.10 meters. And finally the boys 4 x 800 Relay placed 7th. The relay was made up by Max Higgins, Kamiru Ndirangu, Addison Cochran and Clay Pender. They finished with a awesome time of 8:18.04.

The Jefferson Track team has had a wonderful season so far and they will continue gaining marvelous times and results in its 4 more meets to come. So come out and support your dragons and see for yourself their amazing performances in action. Go Dragons!
