JHS Swim Team takes 1st at Fall Frenzy Invitational

The Jefferson High School Swim Team participated in the annual Fall Frenzy invitational hosted at the Frances Meadows Aquatic Center, November 12th. The swim team finished 1st out of 14 schools.

Sophomore McKenzie Klink had a 1st place finish in the Girls 100 Free with a state qualifying time of 56.49 along with a 1st place finish in the Girls 100 Fly with a state qualifying time of 1:01.15. Junior Haley Bartoletta finished 1st in the Girls 200 IM qualifying for state with a time of 2:19.92. The Jefferson Girls A Relay finished 1st in the Girls 400 Yard Free Relay with a time of 4:15.29 with swims from Junior Haley Bartoletta, Freshmen Rayna Torres, Sophomore McKenzie Klink, and Junior Lindsey Kelley.

Senior Cole Holbrook swam a 2nd place finish in the Boys 100 Fly with a time of 1:00.41. Freshman Will Guzman had a 2nd place finish in the Boys 200 IM touching the wall with a 2:25.39. The Boys A Relay finished 4th in the Boys 200 Yard Free Relay with a time of 1:40.29, including swims from Seniors Cole Holbrook and Max Higgins, and Juniors Nathaniel Torres and C.J. Guzman.
