The Jefferson High School Swim Team had a meet at Riverside High School, November 9th, against multiple teams and finished 2nd for the women and 3rd for the men.
The varsity boys A relay placed second in the 200 Medley Relay with a finishing time of 1:52.61 including swims from Sophomore Conlan Aquila, Juniors Nathaniel Torres and CJ Guzman and Senior Cole Holbrook. The varsity girls A relay also finished second in the 200 Medley Relay with a state qualifying time of 2:03.03 including swims from Sophomores McKenzie Klinck and Avrie Crum, Junior Haley Bartoloetta, and Freshman Sara McMullan. The varsity Girls 400 free relay took first place with a state qualifying time of 3:51.80 with swims from Sophomores Avrie Crum and McKenzie Klinck, Junior Lindsey Kelley and Freshmen Rayna Torres.
Jefferson Varsity girls took 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 6th in the 200 free with Ryleigh Tooke (2:19.31), Rayna Torres (2:20.76), Anna Swaim (2:33.93), and Katie Dollar (2:35.98). The varsity boys 100 fly had a first place finish from Junior Nathaniel Torres (1:01.86) along with a third place finish from Senior Cole Holbrook (1:03.30). Junior Haley Bartoletta placed 1st in the varsity girls 100 fly with a time of 1:05.25 along with a first place finish in the varsity Girls 100 breast with a time of 1:17.06. Freshman Sara McMullan took first place in the varsity Girls 100 Free with a time of 1:00.02. Freshman Will Guzman finished first in the varsity boys 500 free with a time of 5:32.65 and Freshman Marie Moore took second in the varsity Girls 500 free with a 6:08.18. Sophomore McKenzie Klinck finished first in the varsity Girls 100 back with a state qualifying time of 1:02.26.
