Coach Gales, who was paralyzed from the waist down as a Southern football player when playing Georgia in 2015, has decided to coach the Dragons. Devon collided with the Georgia kicker Marshall Morgan on Sept, 26, 2015 and has been paralyzed ever since. Gales has been living with his mother Tish, brother Dalen and sister Teah and have been living in a cramped house that hinders Gales from doing many everyday necessities. Since then many organizations and people have been donating money towards Devon to getting a suitable home. Gales' new home in the Traditions has given more freedoms and accessibility to the former Georgia Southern player. Through his former football experience and playtime with Georgia Southern, Coach Gales should be very beneficial to the Dragon team. Please give a warm welcome to the new member of the Dragon family, Coach Devon Gales. Let us also hope for an amazing next season with our new coach. Go Dragons.
