Everyone is invited to come take a dive into the world of the local freshwater wetlands, enjoy, and explore them. There will be many activities such as building bird homes or some fun visitors to see like the live reptiles, amphibians, and insects. The second graders from the Jefferson City Elementary School will be helping bring attention to the Prothonotary Warbler, an endangered species, by showing their artwork of the beautiful bird.Projects from students may be showcased for students to share their excellent work as well. As there are being Bird Nest Boxes installed before the event, we may be lucky enough to have some of our friends visit us. We can’t wait to see you and your family there for a fun day. Be prepared to get your feet wet!
Parking at the Jefferson Memorial Stadium will be available
