Dear Parents,
As we approach the final weeks of the 2007 – 08 school year, I would like to remind you of several events that are scheduled to take place. We are very proud of our new performing arts center and will be officially opening it with a first performance by our Drama Dragons of ‘The Wizard Of Oz’ scheduled for May 1, 2, 3 at 7:30 pm. There will be a special matinee performance on May 3 at 2:00 pm. Our band will also perform on Thursday, May 1st to help officially open the facility. Make your plans to come out to these performances and also see our beautiful facility.
End Of Course Testing (EOCT) will take place according to the following schedule:
Tuesday, Wednesday May 6, 7 Lang Arts 9; Lang Arts 11, Physical Science
Friday, May 9 Economics, All Seniors in Other EOCT Courses
Monday, Tuesday May 12, 13 Biology, Algebra I, Geometry, US History
Wednesday, May 14 Make Up Tests
Please remember that all EOCT tests are mandated by the state of Georgia in the above courses and count 15% of the course grade.
Final exams will be administered to all students according to the following schedule:
Tuesday, May 13 8:00 am Senior Exams Blocks 1 and 3
Wednesday, May 14 8:00 am Senior Exams Blocks 2 and 4
Thursday, May 15 Underclass Exams Block 1 and 3
(Dismiss at 11:45 am)
Friday, May 16 Underclass Exams Blocks 2 and 4
(Dismiss at 11:45 am)
Report cards will be available to be picked up in the main office on Friday, May 23 from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. All fines and obligations should be cleared before picking up report cards.
