Yearbooks will be passed out Friday afternoon.
  Yearbooks can still be purchased through
Thursday for $40.00 from Ms. Murphy. 
Please remember: you may not pick up a yearbook early,
and no yearbooks will be sold on Friday.

JMS News:

• Monday, May 12^th – JMS Band Spring Concert – changed to 7:00 p.m. – JHS Performing Arts Center

• May 13-14 – 8^th Grade Exams

• Thursday, May 15^th – Graduation and Honor’s Night for 8^th Grade – 6:00 – JHS Performing Arts Center

• May 15-16 – 7^th Grade Exams

• Friday, May 16^th – 6^th Grade Honor’s Day Ceremony – 9:30 – JMS Gymnasium

• Friday, May 16^th – 7^th Grade Honor’s Day Ceremony – 1:00 – JMS Gymnasium

• JMS is now on Smugmug (Proceeds to JMS!)

 

Congratulations to this JMS 6^th grader for being one of 12 students from around the state of Georgia to win the “If I Were Mayor” contest (over 4800 essays were submitted statewide).  Her essay won a $250 savings bond, a trophy, a framed copy of her essay, and lunch at Turner Field. This is the third consecutive year that a JMS student has won the competition in the mayor essay contest!
