Our character education program is supported by the Character Education Committee.  The committee is made up of counselors, teachers, paraprofessionals, and parents to help guide decisions about character education at JES.  We meet monthly or bi-monthly to assess the character education program and help to support our school's vision and goals.  The minutes from our meetings are linked below.

Charge to Committee

• To plan the Kick-Off Assembly with a Poster Walk

• To utilize the morning video announcements to promote character education throughout the year

• To provide leadership for weekly class meetings

• To plan an End of the Year Celebration

• To promote student recognition for good citizenship (Example:  Dragon Awards)

• To decide on and support school service projects
