Coach Laurie Davidson

                                         

Coach Davidson had the opportunity to live in Australia for 5 months where she played softball in the National competition. She also was a coach for the under 19 Australian National team. She lived in Perth Australia but traveled though out countries in competition.

 Coach Davidson has a puppy named Molly Brown she is a beagle/ cocker spaniel mix puppy. Coach Davidson is currently a teacher at Jefferson High School. She is the girl's softball coach. Coach Davidson is also a teacher at our school. She teaches Concepts of Problem Solving, Concepts of Algebra, and 9th Grade Basic Reading and Writing. Coach Davidson attended St. Pius X Catholic High School and graduated in 1999. She went to East Carolina University and the University of Georgia and  Received a Bachelors of Science in Family and Consumer Science, with Degree in Child and Family Development.

Coach Davidson was the Atlanta Journal and Constitution High School Softball Player of the Year in 1998. She was the starting pitcher for East Carolina University for three years and holds the school record for the most strikeouts in a single season. In 2001 she placed 13th in Division 1 wins. Coach Davidson transferred to the University of Georgia for her senior year where she served as a closer in 25 games and shared in three no hitters. She finished with an (ERA) of .58 and was awarded the Most Improved Pitcher by the (UGA) coaching staff. She was a member of the University of Georgia's first South Eastern Conference Championship team.
