My name is Anny Kenney and this is my third year as Professional School Counselor at JES.  I teach lessons based on the American School Counselor Association goals and objectives, the Quality Core Curriculum competencies for Character Education and Guidance, and the Georgia Performance Standards related to academic, career, and personal/social development.  In addition to teaching lessons in classrooms once a month, I meet with students individually and in groups based on need.  I welcome questions and consultations from teachers and parents alike.  Please call me, e-mail me, or come by my office on third wing.

 

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a Minor in Child and Family Development from the University of Georgia, a Master of Education degree in School Counseling from Valdosta State University, and I am currently pursuing an Education Specialist Degree in Professional School Counseling at the University of Georgia.
